Le Baratza Sette 30 AP est un moulin à café compact pour commencer un voyage expresso, adapté aux machines à expresso basiques et avancées. Le Sette 30 AP dispose d'un réglage macro uniquement pour la taille de mouture, offrant 31 étapes de réglage.
Fraises
Ce moulin intègre la fraise AP, conçue pour les moulins haut de gamme Sette 270/270W, qui produit une mouture expresso exceptionnelle. Il peut également être utilisé pour le broyage pour les méthodes de brassage manuelles qui nécessitent une mouture plus fine (par exemple, AeroPress et Hario V60) pour une expérience de saveur très équilibrée.
Broyage et fonctionnement
Conçue et perfectionnée au Liechtenstein sur une période de 8 ans, cette technologie établit une nouvelle norme en matière de simplicité, d'efficacité et de durabilité. Ce nouveau mécanisme fait tourner la fraise extérieure et la fraise intérieure est fixe, une conception vraiment révolutionnaire. La conception de ce mécanisme double l'efficacité des broyeurs de taille similaire. Le café passe directement dans le moulin, verticalement, et tombe directement dans le bac à marc ou votre porte-filtre.

Kun Baratza Variosta kuluivat terät, en halunnut ruveta odottelemaan vaihtoteriä ulkomailta, vaan piti saada nopeasti joku mylly käyttööni. Niinpä hankin myllyn Sette 30, koska tiesin, että Crema toimittaa sen nopeasti.
Yleisvaikutelmahan tässä on kauttaaltaan muovinen.
Ajastinnäyttö on sekava: ensin näkyvät sadasosasekunnitkin, mutta kymmenen sekunnin kohdalla ne häipyvät pois, jonka jälkeen pienin yksikkö on kymmenesosasekuntia.
Kahva ei pysy pidikkeessä itsestään, vaan siitä on pidettävä kädellä kiinni. Myllyn lähellä ei voi kuitenkaan olla ilman kuulosuojaimia. Tällä laitteella nimittäin herätät koko talon, ja naapuritkin.
Jauhoin 14 g Blucaffé-papuja tehtaan suosittelemalla espressoasetuksella 10, ja uutin 25 g kahvia Flair 58 -kojeella ilman sihtiä 9 barin paineella. Aikaa meni 30 sekuntia. Olin tyytyväinen tulokseen ja makuun. Kahvin onnistuminen oli tärkeintä, jonka vuoksi annoin myllylle viisi tähteä huolimatta laitteen muista rempulamaisista ominaisuuksista.

Vanha mylly ei enää jauhanut kyllin hienoksi, mutta tämä jauhaa niin, että ellei varo, saa espresson pudotusta odottaa puoli tuntia! Ainoa miinus on melko kova käyttöääni, mutta sen kanssa oppii elämään.

Good value for money
This is a no non-sense, simple but well built machine. Very easy to get started, giving good consistent grinding results. I use it for expresso making and I am very happy with it (I have not tried it for other brewing methods though).
Only drawback for me is noise level: it is (very) loud

After being refunded twice here in the UK due to no stock, I found one on here and knew that all would be fine, what with PayPal And my own bank regulations. Need not have even thought about it though as it arrived in 6 days (the extra day being some mishap within FedEx).
The machine is very easy to set up and after the initial 40gm 'first grind' away I went, only to have my DeLonghi Dedica choke on me at 7 and 10 settings! LoL. I dialled it back to 15! That worked fine, and I will then dial it back down as I go.
This machine is fast! Like 12 seconds for 17gm fast! It isn't quiet though, so don't have it near a bedroom if your partner / kids are light sleepers LoL. I Will be buying the 270 fine adjustment for the burrs at some stage (likely once it is dialled in).
All in all the machine is a breeze to use and works as described on the tin.
Go buy one, you will not regret it!.

I couldn't get hold of a grinder here in the UK and found one on Crema's website. I thought - 'So far away, never heard of them, oh sod it, let's give them a go.'
