Excellent coffee brewer after a steep learning curve
Great colour and quality from aeropress. Obviously not different to any other aeropress and therefore great coffee brewer after some learning time.

T.A.Not really an upgrade, but it was different for me!
Being visually handicapped, this was a nice upgrade from my earlier Aeropress, since it is slightly easier to see the numbers in certain light - for those times when one should be precise rather than just "pour it in by eye". So no complaints, even if the manufacturer is meaner with the number of filters you can get in the packet [and no funnel] but a price rise. I can't blame Crema for that though.

Ulkonäkö miellyttää omaa silmää paljon enemmän kuin vanhempi tylsän harmaa Aeropress. Laadussa tai sen valvonnassa on menty kyllä taaksepäin vahvasti ja hintakin on vastaavasti noussut. Kirkkaassa matskussa näkyy valujäljet ja naarmut luonnollisesti paremmin, joten olisi voinut kuvitella että laadunvalvontaan olisi myös panostettu koska hintaakin on enemmän.
Omassa pressissä oli jo paketista otettaessa sylinterissä koko sylinterin pituinen selkeä naarmu, joka olisi pitänyt jo laadunvalvonnassa ottaa sivuun. En lähtenyt tuotetta palauttamaan, koska ei varsinaisesti vaikuta toimivuuteen eikä kahvin makuun.
Lisäksi vanhemmasta Aeropressistä tutut suppilo ja suodatinteline ovat jääneet pois, myös suodattimien määrää on vähennetty. Kahvin maussa en huomannut eroa verrattuna vanhaan Aeropressiin. Jos yleinen laadun heikentyminen ja lisävarusteiden sekä suodattimien vähentyminen huomoidaan kohonneen hinnan kanssa, on tätä aika vaikea suositella etenkään jos omistaa jo vanhemman mallin, jos on ensimmäistä Aeropressiä hommaamassa niin riippuu siitä paljonko antaa ulkonäölle arvoa.
