Melitta Grãos de Café para Espresso
During the first decade of the 20th century a German housewife Melitta Benz (1873-1950) had an idea to filter coffee grounds off the drink by using a blotting paper from her son's notebook - and so the coffee filter paper we all know now was born. Mrs. Bentz patented her innovation in 1908 and started a company bearing her first name with her husband and two sons in their apartment for manufacturing her wildly popular invention. Today the Melitta corporation is run by her two grandsons and has approx. 3000 employees in 50 countries.
