Kinto SCS Coffee Carafe Set with Stainless Steel Filter 2 cups
Japanese Kinto has designed this coffee set where the coffee is brewed in a beautiful glass carafe. When brewing coffee completely by hand, you are in total control of the brewing process, and can customize it according to your taste and the coffee used. Enjoying the coffee is also raised at another level when the coffee is served from the stylish carafe.
In addition to the glass carafe, the set includes a perforated stainless steel filter. Compared to a paper filter, the brewed coffee will be more full bodied. The set also includes a stand where you can place the coffee filter when the brewing is complete.
The carafe is available in two different sizes. In the smaller 2 cup model, you can brew approx. 300 ml of coffee, and in the larger 4 cups of carafe, you brew 600 ml. The smaller carafe has a total volume of about 600 ml, and in the larger approx. 1.1 liters.

Great Design, Functionality and Value
Provides the coffee you want in a beautiful design. I find the thin stainless steel filter to be superior to paper and appreciate the filter holder which can also function to retain heat in the blown glass carafe. It’s a perfect size for 2-4 people or 1 person who wants to make a little extra for themselves!

Looks very good, and works well too. Here you'll need to experiment with grind size and amount of coffee to get your perfect cup (to your taste). The filter works fine, but it is sensitive: sometimes the water drips too slowly, sometimes too fast. Advantage is the easy of use: just clean the filter/glass with water or put it in the dishwasher. Because the filter is single layer it is rather easy to clean. One thing though: the glass looks fragile (like wine glasses) so best be careful with it. Don't smash it on your kitchen sink etc. but that should be obvious...

Fick kanongott kaffe på första försöket med löfbergs lila mellanrost och jag gick bara helt på känsla. Det första jag lade märke till var att konsistensen var helt fantastisk jämfört när jag gör samma kaffe med min billiga plastkaffebryggare.
Ett minus är att paketet inte var bemärkt med nån varningstejp då det är glas i paketet.
