Perheen kotitarpeisiin oikein sopiva
Kyselin baristalta suosituksia astetta paremmasta ja tasaisen jauhatustuloksen antavasta kahvimyllystä ja tämä oli edullisempi kahdesta suosituksesta. Tuotekuvauksen ja hinnan perusteella valitsin tämän ja olennsupertyytyväinen. Hyvä hintalaatusuhde kotitarpeeseen. Pressopannu, käsinsuodatus ja mutteripannu meillä käytössä. Jauhatusjäämiä ei esiinny ja jauhatuksen laatu on ihanan tasaista halpismyllymme jälkeen. Vahva suositus.

Hintaansa nähden erinomainen mylly, ja muutenkin. Tekee tasalaatuista jälkeä. Espressokarkeus vielä testaamatta.

Är det världens finaste kaffekvarn? Nej, men det har alla funktioner och smarta lösningar som en kvarn för dubbel eller trippel så dyrt.
Det saknas steglös justeringar och det är lite krångligt att ställa in hur fint det ska vara, nar man måste ta bort kaffehållare för att justera den grövre inställning. Men det är rätt bra pris för en espressokvarn för hemmet.
Den magnetiska kaffe-fångaren är supersmart design och den här nån plast inlägg som passar 58mm portafilters, man behöver ingen doseringsring.

E.A.Nästan super för pengarna
Detta är en espressokvarn, inget snack.
Redan vid inställning 4 gör den espressomalning och då är det ca 10 steg kvar till finaste. För pengen kan man inte räkna med steglös inställning eller att sätta måtten i gram för att mala, men den gör ett mycket bra jobb om man väger in bönorna först. Den lämnar 0,2-1,0 gram kvar i maskinen efter malning, men efter att knäppt av och på malningen 2-3 gånger och knackat lite i sidan saknas normalt bara ca 0,0-0,3 gram. Som en extra fin grej kan koppen delas i två och den inre biten går att hålla mot portafiltret för att hälla över kaffepulvret utan att spilla ett dugg, smidigt. Lite synd att det inte finns en on/off knapp, men den går i standby-läge efter en stunds inaktivitet.
Alla espressokvarnar är jättedyra men denna är verkligen jättebra för pengen (dvs gör espressomalning fin nog att funka, och ännu lite finare).
Very good choice for consistent grinding
Using the grinder now for 2 weeks, I can say that it was a very good choice. Very good design makes you want to put the equipment at the focal point of the kitchen counter. Grinding precision gives you great opportunity for experimenting. The only downside is that the residue in the grinder is relatively big, 0.5-1 grams, you need to kick the grinder a couple of times with your hand to collect the remains
F.I.Good, not great
For the reference - I am comparing this grinder to my old Ascaso Mini.
Pros:
+ Well thought through design. Starting from packaging and to the little details like grind setting hints under the hopper lid. Very nice.
+ Decently quiet and the pitch of the sound is not annoying
+ Easy to adjust grind size, especially if you don't do espresso and do not intend to obsess over in-between-step microadjustments.
+ It grinds well. Whole family noticed that the coffee tastes much smoother now comparing to the previous grinder. I guess the grind uniformity is better
Cons:
- build quality is far from premium. It is too light and e.g. when adjusting the grind size you kind of have to hold the base of the grinder with one hand and move the slider with another - because the slider action is far from smooth and you will just move the grinder on the table if you don't hold it.
- since this is not a zero retention grinder - there is almost always some leftover ground coffee on the base of the grinder and you will scratch it unless you take care wiping it before and after every use
All in all I would recommend this for anyone who is not ready to splash twice more for a better built grinder. It is functional, well thought through and grinds well.
